(80): Deep down your barricades changed my mold

(80): Deep down your barricades changed my mold

Lyrics from Panama - Always
Helllllloooo! I feel like I have tons of things to write today so here I am! I already finished editing all the lessons from my online work so work is not my priority at the moment. So first things first! I received my dress yesterday from Zalora and the delivery was faster than what I expected!
Please don't look at my feet hahaha! I blame myself for not wearing socks during my first few days here in Vietnam :D Women here cover everything (except their eyes lol) when they drive motorbikes. They wear gloves, socks, long skirt that you can tie on your waist when you wear shorts or skirts, jacket, sweater, or cardigan just to not get dark! And unfortunately I didn't get the memo :P By the way how do you think of my dress???? Ain't it pretty!? I got it on sale! :)

Also I donated some of my clothes and shoes to the charity! I used to wear the black pair of shoes to school :> But one of the American teachers always kept on saying that I need to buy a new pair of shoes! I guess it's because he's gay LOL none of the other teachers are commenting about it (or maybe they think my shoes are really ugly they just don't say it heeheehee :P) Would you believe he commented about my shoes twice!? First was when we were inside the elevator. He's like, "girl you really need to buy a new pair of shoes" and the 2nd time was during our break. So the next day I wore my new shoes from Zalora that I bought last year. If I remember correctly I posted it here! Anyways, back to the photos!
Oh wait, did I mention my ex bought those New Balance shoes 5 years ago?? :)

(79): My first visa run

(79): My first visa run

Changed the title only for today because this post will talk about my first visa run from Vietnam to Cambodia. This might be helpful to some expats like me who will have their very first visa run to Cambodia. First things first, I obtained a visa approval letter to one of the agents I met on FB. Visa letter is very important because if you don't have it, then you can't get a visa. Simple as that. (P.S. I got a multiple entry visa. )After that, I booked a bus ticket going to Pnom Penh, Cambodia. The bus driver dropped us off at the Moc Bai border for passport stamping since we were about to exit Vietnam and enter Cambodia. Just a reminder so you won't be confused: the exit point of Vietnam is Moc Bai and the entry point of Cambodia is Bavet. We rode the bus again and the conductor took our passports for passport stamping to enter Cambodia.
Here are some photos first because I don't want to bore you to death while reading this :D

Outfit of the day! Wore my new Adidas shoes! This was 5:30 in the morning.

This is the bus terminal. I forgot the name of the bus company, but I know it has two names and the initials are P.L. The bus left Saigon at 6:30 AM.

 Close to Moc Bai border.

(78): I'll promise to build a new world for us two with you in the middle

Lyrics from DJ Snake - Middle ft. Bipolar Sunshine
Y'all should listen to this song! :3 I swear you will love it!

Anyway hiiiiii guys!!! It hasn't been long since I last posted here! ^-^ Today's a pretty busy and tiring day! I went out with my Vietnamese friend August around 8.30 in the morning and I went back home at almost 4.30. I had like 5 hours of sleep so imagine how sleepy I was today while walking under the heat of the sun! I can't explain how hot it was today T^T Okay enough about that! The first thing we did was going to the photo studio because I need to have my photo taken for getting a new visa on the 24th (that would be in another post).

Inside the photo studio (more like an office):

Second, we went to Hello Weekend Market, a popular clothing bazaar in District 1 where they sell lovely clothes, bag, shoes, rings, mugs, and everything for not-so-low price. One plain shirt costs around $7. Do you find that expensive or is it just me? LOL. In the Philippines you can buy 2 shirts for $7. I did not try to bargain because there's tons of people behind me and there's no enough space to stop and check clothes. I only bought three things there:

These soaps smell fantastic! Yes, they are soaps haha! At first I thought they were candles. Look at those bananas over there :D They look real bananas, but they're soaps :p I bought 3 and I'm going to give them to my aunts when go back to the Philippines! This is an organic soap from Thailand.

(77): He sprinkled me in pixie dust and told me to believe

(77): He sprinkled me in pixie dust and told me to believe

Lyrics from Ruth B - Lost Boy
I am totally captivated by this song. I was reading some comments on Youtube and most of them are saying that this song is about the death of a child and Peter Pan is his angel going to Neverland. This one has the best interpretation of the song for me:

From lanibabai http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/r/ruth_b/lost_boy.html

"Okay so knowing the story about Peter Pan, this is how I look at the song, forgive me if I'm wrong but this is how I see it.
The song is about kids who die and peter pan is the angel that guides them to heaven which is "Neverland". The song is sad but beautiful as well. "Then one night I closed my eyes" I would assume he/she was dying. "He sprinkled me in pixie dust and told me to believe Believe in him and believe in me Together we will fly away in a cloud of green To your beautiful destiny" meaning that Peter Pan is telling the child that everything is going to be okay and they the child should just believe in him as they reach their destination (heaven). "As we soared above the town that never loved me I realized I finally had a family Soon enough we reached Neverland Peacefully my feet hit the sand" the child is looking down at the city where he/she didn't feel like they belonged and felt like no one was there and then soon (which led me to partially think it was a suicide) the child then felt like he/she was loved and was where they finally needed to be which was with Peter Pan and never land. And then eventually the child had reached heaven. "Run run lost boy, they say to me Away from all of reality Neverland is home to lost boys like me And lost boys like me are free" is about how the child feels that he/she is free from all his/her problems. The child believes that Neverland is where he/she belonged and that this was the place where they needed to be free and happy for a change"

It makes me extremely sad thinking about those poor kids, but damn this song is really good. She has a live version as well! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3m_V1XNPxA Hope she gets more famous with this song!

Anyway hi guys! I'm here again because I finished Unit 12 from my online work and I still don't know if there are new units for me this month. I want to make up for the weeks I was not blogging so here I am again :) So in this post I am going to promote Jenny's stuff from Society6. She asked me if I could promote this to my blog and ofc I said yes. It's not only because she is Ted's sister but she's a pretty nice lady who is very talented and funny! Her works are pretty awesome so you must check 'em out! But before that let me show you the mug I got from Ted which was designed by Jenny.

Ted sent me these photos as soon as he got the mug. I was really hoping he'd receive it before Christmas, but it's better late than never :)

(76): We are a secret, can't be exposed

Lyrics from Zara Larsson - Uncover

OH MY GOD GUYS!! This is my first blog post in 2016!!!!!!! :> Hi everyone! Happy new year!! Are you slowly fulfilling your resolutions? :p Anyways! Have you noticed something on my blog??? Yes! I've finally purchased my own domain name and it's www.feedingwords.com I cannot believe I have my own blog now. Like literally MINE. I purchased this last night and paid around 14 USD for 2 years from godaddy. I have experienced a lot of 'firsts' ever since I got my Visa Debit card! And yes, this is my first time owning visa debit! #dontjudge LOL that's why it is so convenient for me to buy stuff online! Oh gosh I have thousands of words to write >.< I am so busy with my online work that I really don't have time to blog ugh I still have 4 lessons to make, but I want to blog first! :3

In case you are wondering why I chose the name 'feedingwords', it is simply because I feed the readers with my words (not literally. duh? lol). It's like whenever I write and whenever people read my posts, they get and know something from me, and that 'something' is what I feed them. You get the point, right? It took me weeks to think of the best name that would best describe my blog. Here are some of the names I considered:
-cup/mug of pink which was Ted's idea
- my life since 1990
-mermaids don't blog
-when kattie writes
-very busy and awesome
I was soooo close to choosing the 2nd one, but there's always something that gets in the way, and so I thought "maybe this isn't meant to be the right name". And man was I wrong! I thank Youtube for teaching me how to put my domain name to work. I slept at 4 am and when I woke up and check my blog, BOOM! It worked! I also bought a new template which you can obviously see. I just tweaked the layout settings a bit so it looks perfect for my liking. I hope you like it! :3

That's my recent update :p It's photo time!

Vietnam is a hot country, I know that. But I have to wear boots and cardigan because my skin is getting really dark. Plus people here wear thicker jackets so no one's going to judge you lol
